The Department was set up in 1981. Over the years, along with the development of medical sciences, the department has set up high standards in patient care, education and research. All clinical departments are anchored to this specialty. The Department offers Anaesthesia and Pain relief services for cancer treatment which includes Cancer Surgery - curative, reconstructive, and palliative using advanced technology and equipments. Our operation theatre complex consists of 12 state of art fully equipped operation theatres rooms with 20 bedded, ICU. We have 15 bedded step-down ICU to take care of post-operative patients.
