ಜೀವರಸಾಯನಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ವಿಭಾಗ
ಜೀವರಸಾಯನಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ವಿಭಾಗವು ರೋಗಿಯ ಆರೈಕೆ, ಬೋಧನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಶೋಧನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಒಂದು ಸಮಗ್ರ ವಿಭಾಗವಾಗಿದೆ. ರೋಗಿಯ ಆರೈಕೆಗಾಗಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ರಸಾಯನಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್ಗೆಡ್ಡೆಗಳ ಗುರುತುಹಚ್ಚುವಿಕೆ (ಮಾರ್ಕಿಂಗ್) ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ದಿನನಿತ್ಯದ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ರಸಾಯನಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದ ತಪಾಸಣೆಗಳ ಸೇವಾ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಸ್ಪೆಕ್ಟ್ರೋಫೊಟೊಮೆಟ್ರಿಕ್, ಕೆಮಿಲುಮಿನೆಸ್ಸೆನ್ಸ್ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಸ್ವಯಂ-ವಿಶ್ಲೇಷಕಗಳು, ಪಿಸಿಆರ್, ಆರ್ಟಿಪಿಸಿಆರ್ ಸಿಆರ್ ಮುಂತಾದ ಅತ್ಯಾಧುನಿಕ ಯಂತ್ರೋಪಕರಣಗಳು ವಾರ್ಷಿಕವಾಗಿ 10, 00,000 ತಪಾಸಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ವರದಿಗಳು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗುವುದನ್ನು ಖಚಿತಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು, ನಿಯಮಿತ ಆಂತರಿಕ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ಮತ್ತು ಬಾಹ್ಯ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು
ವಿಭಾಗವು ಹಲವಾರು ಬೋಧನಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಬಿ.ಎಸ್ಸಿ.ಯಂತಹ ಒಗ್ಗೂಡಿದ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಗಳ ಪದವಿಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು, ಮೆಡಿಕಲ್ ಲ್ಯಾಬೊರೇಟರಿ ಟೆಕ್ನಾಲಜಿ ಕೋರ್ಸ್, ಪಿ.ಹೆಚ್ಡಿ. ಮುಂತಾದ ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು, ರಾಜೀವ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಗಳ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ (ಆರ್.ಜಿ.ಯು.ಹೆಚ್.ಎಸ್) ಸಂಯೋಜನೆಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರೌಢಪ್ರಬಂಧದ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಮತ್ತು ಡೆಂಟಲ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ಮತ್ತು ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇತರ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಗಳಿಂದ ಪದವಿಪೂರ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ಪದವಿ ಮತ್ತು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯೇತರ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಯಮಿತವಾಗಿ ತರಬೇತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿಯೋಜನೆ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ವಿಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು
ಡಾಕ್ಟರೇಟ್ ಪದವಿಗಾಗಿ ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ರಾಜೀವ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಗಳ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯವು ಈ ವಿಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾನ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಹಲವಾರು ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಡಿಎಸ್ಟಿ, ಡಿಬಿಟಿ, ಐಸಿಎಂಆರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಆರ್.ಜಿ.ಯು.ಹೆಚ್.ಎಸ್. ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಜೂರು ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ, ಐದು ಪಿ.ಹೆಚ್ಡಿ. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ನೋಂದಣಿಗೊಂಡು ಪ್ರೌಢಪ್ರಬಂಧದ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
